I had a wonderful time photographing baby Keira at her newborn session. I met her mom and dad when they came in for maternity photos and I was very much looking forward to meeting their baby daughter. 7-day old Keira did so well at her session, she was really curly and sleepy. Multiple times Mom and I had to just say “aww” because she looked so cute all curled up sleeping peacefully. We used a few simple headbands and lots of neutral fabrics for her photos. Keira did great in all the natural, womb-like simple poses. Mom requested lace and a few simple basket props for her session and I love how those images turned out. She slept almost her entire session but at the end we gave her a little bit of a feet so I could capture the one image I hadn’t got yet – her curly sweet toes! We got it quickly and easily once Keira had a nice full belly.
