It was so good to see Katelyn + Paul again and meet their newborn son. We did their maternity photos at the beginning of May and have been eagerly waiting his arrival ever since. Little Bryson was so adorable. He had the sweetest frown on his face whether he was awake or asleep. It made us laugh. He was quite the stubborn little guy too. He only liked to lie one side so I was moving lighting and furniture around so I could keep him happy and capture his handsome newborn self at the same time. It was so odd for me to work from the opposite side but I’ll have to try it again sometime because boy are his images cute! Mom asked for natural, simple images which is always right up my alley. So we worked a lot of those in. I love how you can see just how Bryson likes to sleep in many of his gallery photos. He “posed” himself on his back and I let him guide me into the cuteness you see below. He also liked to be swaddled until he hit that deep newborn sleep. His nursery is decorated in mint green, grey and white. I try to pull colours that match or compliment baby’s room decor when I can. This way when his photos are hung they fit right in as beautiful, matching artwork.
