So happy to share these beautiful studio newborn photos we did for baby boy N way back in October. I loved meeting his kind and sweet parents to capture their first photos as a family of three. Posed newborn photos like you see here are best done while your baby is still small and sleepy – usually this is under two weeks of age. You can see that here, baby N is absolutely chill and curly in womb-like positions. Had we waited another week or two, these images wouldn’t have been possible. He’d be more alert, awake, outstretched and wouldn’t be squishy and curly.
It’s generally essential to book this type of session while you are still pregnant. I only reserve a limited amount of due dates per month. Sometimes I’m able to accommodate last minute babies so even if you just had a baby and are aching for me to capture images like this of your sweet new baby, contact me and I’ll let you know what we can do. 🙂
