I was excited from the get-go when this mama first emailed me. She found me on ClickinMoms and requested a lifestyle newborn session for her baby boy. I always love meeting new people who have an interest in photography. It’s such a great community where I have met so many amazing friends. Charles finally arrived and I got to meet this lovely family of four to photograph them in their home. Big sister Claire is only two years old herself but is so gentle and happy around her brother. They were really hoping to get some sleepy baby photos and luckily we were able to get Charlie to sleep – even if it was just for a few minutes. I worked fast! They also wanted a family photo on the front steps of their home, which is something I love doing in the summer months. There were beautiful gardens all in front of their house which gave lots of bright, happy colour to the images.
