Emmett is turning one and his mama brought him into the studio for some portraits to capture his last days of babyhood. He was quite shy and unsure of me at the beginning of the session so I did a lot of hiding behind the camera. Sometimes this happens with one year olds. It’s about this time that they start playing strange. Luckily Emmett loves his mama plenty enough to get some smiles for the camera. Even though his smiles were not directed at me, I’ll take them. Thankfully he warmed up to me a bit by the end of our time together.
