I’m writing this post and it’s currently -10 outside. Hard to imagine in a couple months, the weather will warm, we will no longer feel cold all the time (HA!) and these beautiful lilac bushes will once again bloom. It’s been a long winter, with a ton of snow, and I’m very much looking forward to getting outside with some sunshine and flowers.
This family was so sweet to reach out to me again, after doing their newborn photos and family photos previously. I love getting to see the little babies I photograph grow up and show me their big personalities. It’s more like hanging out with friends than working. That’s why my job is the perfect fit and I am so grateful to get to do what I love. We scheduled their session for the spring lilac season and it was amazing. My family galleries are always so big with a ton of variety, including both “looking at the camera” and more playful, candid images.
