In late November and early December, I usually book a few in-home family Christmas sessions. I had the pleasure of returning to this family’s home for a second time to capture some holiday magic for them. Their home has this big, bright and beautiful sunroom, which lends itself for the perfect spot to place their tree and get family photos with the best lighting. We captured formal portraits of the three of them as well as some fun lifestyle images like opening presents, reading a Christmas story and snuggling in front of the tree. It was a good mix of traditional and casual images. We also took part of the session time to photograph them decorating a gingerbread house. One of the many annual traditions of their family, now photographed professionally for them to always remember.
