I just love it when a happy baby comes in for a first birthday session and they are full of sass. Baby E was just that. He had me laughing from the first click of my camera. He loved to scrunch his nose, give me silly faces and smiled with his tongue sticking out. All these things are worth documenting because as a mom of 3 older boys, I can tell you that these tiny quirks will fade. One day you’ll look back at photos and you’ll realize, gosh, they don’t do that any more. So documenting these cute details is very much worth it.
If you are looking to capture your baby around the time they turn one, reach out a couple months in advance. During the summer months, we do first birthday sessions outdoors and involve the whole family. During the wintertime we do them indoors at my Burlington studio. All of his outfits, except the blue one which mom brought, are from my studio wardrobe. I make it super easy for parents. Just bring baby and leave the rest up to me. 🙂
