In-home newborn photos during the summer months are extra fun because we can go outside and use the family’s backyard, front yard and the front porch for even more variety of images. It’s nice when the flowers are in bloom and houses have some planters, patio furniture or a bit of garden area for photos. This family reached out to me soon after their son was born. He was already a couple of weeks old but I was able to book them in for the following month. Baby M was 7-weeks old at the time of our session and it was great for alert and awake images. He was a bit fussy for part of the session but with some snuggles and a feed, he was ready to go again. My in-home sessions are relaxing and not rushed. Often we are able to get all the photos done within an hour or an hour and a half if baby needs to take a feeding break or we are changing them a few times. Big sister was a great helper and loved being involved in the photos. I am very blessed to meet such sweet families who welcome me into their space and trust me with their newborn memories.
