I recently met this couple when they brought their baby girl into my studio for a first birthday session. Baby girl A was shy and reserved at first but found comfort in her parents arms and eventually warmed up and gave us a few smiles. Studio first birthday sessions are a great option in winter months. I typically do them when baby is 11 months old so that parents can have the photos back to post on their social media on baby’s actual birthday and to display at their first birthday party. In the spring and summer months these sessions are fun to do outdoors where baby can explore and play. Especially if they are walking!
