The stars absolutely aligned for this session. It was late March and this mama emailed me asking for a maternity session and a newborn session. She was already 35 weeks along and my daytime schedule over the next month was completely booked. We scheduled her in for a newborn session this spring and as I looked at the forecast for the upcoming weekend I realized that the weather was supposed to be unseasonably warm for March. I messaged her Friday with the crazy idea that we could pull off an outdoor session the very next day! Thankfully, she was game to head outdoors with me and take advantage of this warm, sunny weather. She pulled together outfits, hair and makeup and I think we can all agree that they look fabulous. We headed downtown for their photos and while it was busier than I liked, we made it work with a bit of patience and working the angles as I photographed them. We ended up with a very large gallery of family/maternity images to document this special time in their lives. I look forward to meeting their new baby this spring.
NOTE: This session was done prior to the provincial shutdown. If you are interested in finding out more details about a photo session, feel free to email me to start the discussion. All May/June bookings are on pause until we hear the lockdown will be lifted and photographers can start working again. However, while we wait, we can begin the discussion and I can send you all the appropriate info so that we are ready to go once lockdown is lifted.Hope + Salt Photography specializes in natural newborn and baby photography in the Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and Waterdown areas.
