I’m back from a summer {mostly} off from shooting and I’m SO excited to have my studio filled with babies again! This morning my youngest just went off to Senior Kindergarten feeling like the biggest cheese in the world and while I’ll miss all of the fun adventures with my kiddos, I’m looking forward to the consistency and routine that September brings. I’ve really enjoyed seeing so many of the newborns I photographed shortly after my business began go off to JK this year. All of the “First Day” photos I’m seeing on Instagram are completely warming my heart. I can’t believe all those teeny babies have grown so much! I’m all set up for a newborn coming into the studio today and have a bit of free time, so I figured I’d get back to blogging as I have quite the backlog of session images to share.
This little boy was the second newborn I photographed for this family and what a cutie he was. With a full head of hair and some awesome expressions he showed me, I was quite smitten with him. Here are a few favourite images from our studio session this spring.
