This session was a ton of fun because I did newborn photos for both their children way back, so when Dad contacted me to arrange a family session for his wife, I was thrilled. It was great to see how big the kids have gotten and to reconnect with this family after 6 years! We headed down to this gorgeous lakefront park that is one of my favourites. In late July and August, the gardens are in full bloom and that means the hydrangeas are out, which are so pretty. It’s warm enough to skip rocks and splash in the water. This location has a lot of variety without a lot of walking. You get the stonework around the mansion, the flower gardens, the big trees and trails and of course the little beach at the lake. It’s perfect for families who like a lot of different backgrounds within their gallery.
