Just prior to New Year’s Eve, we had a great maternity session in the studio. Melissa + Mark are expecting a baby in early 2017 and the gender is a surprise. How fun! Since this time of year is so chilly we did their session indoors using fabrics and wardrobe pieces from my studio closet. Melissa had picked out a few poses prior to arriving so we were well organized and worked through the session efficiently. Melissa was so happy and easy going. I enjoyed photographing them so much. I cannot wait to see this couple again with their new baby shortly. Here are a few favourites from our session.
