This newborn session was done in the home of a family I have photographed before. Almost two years ago baby Julia was in my studio for her newborn photos and now she’s a big sister! And what a great big sister she is! This baby boy was 2 weeks old and his family is so pleased that he’s here. During the photos I asked Mom and Dad to look at each other and each time they did, big smiles overtook their faces and you could see and feel the love between them. Big sister Julia was very interested in her little baby brother and because she was so gentle and loving we captured many beautiful images of these siblings together. She was very friendly to me right from when I walked in the door. We were instant buds and I had such a wonderful morning with them all. Little Levy had the sweetest little face. His awake images are so completely adorable. I love how every image radiates happiness, love and connection. This is exactly what I aim to capture in my sessions.
I am always so honoured to be invited into the homes of families to capture these very special moments and to tell their stories of becoming a family or expanding their family. I offer both in-home and in-studio newborn sessions to give families the option of choosing the style and the environment of where they’d like their baby’s first portraits to be taken.
