Recently baby Siena and her family came to my studio for newborn portraits. I was eager to meet them as they came as a referral from a friend I did newborn photos for earlier this year. I’m so glad they did, because they are the nicest couple and little Siena was so adorable! Look at all that hair. When newborns arrive at the studio with a full head of untamed newborn hair it makes me so happy. It’s the cutest thing. Siena was quite sleepy for the first part of her session then she woke up and decided to be wide awake for the rest of our time together. She was really chill and content watching me, which was great because she gave me some intense and darling eye contact for a portion of her photos. We pulled some greys from my neutral closet of fabrics and props to match her nursery and used some girly and simple headbands to accessories her sweet look. I had a great time capturing her newborn details like her little toes, lashes and hands. She had such long lashes and hands and feet with a bit of newborn peely skin which I absolutely love. It’s a perfect representation of newness that only a fresh baby has.
