I photographed Alexander about three weeks ago – right before my family left on holidays, so this blog post is long overdue! This sweet little peanut visited the studio at 13-days old for his studio newborn session. Alexander must have known I was about to take some time off because he made me work that morning! 😉 After a short nap at the beginning he decided it was much more exciting to be awake and watch all the goings on in the studio rather than sleep through it and miss out on the fun. I used all my tips and tricks on him and some of them worked for a small moment but overall he won and we ended up with a lot of wide awake images. You can see that those photos are just as adorable. In fact, my favourite galleries are the ones that include both awake and sleeping images. Alexander gave me lots of sleepy yawns and charming and sometimes funny expressions. Mom picked out some of her favourite images from my pinterest board before the session and I did my best to work those in to create a set that mom and dad ultimately loved.
